Changing Education Paradigms

       I was very impressed with this video.  The speaker had many important things mentioned that were true.  I believe that they should be looked upon and maybe have some of his words be put into actions.  I was impressed with how the video was put together using drawings because some people become more fascinated when they have something to look at.  I think the video must have took the artist a lot of time and it was very detailed.
       I agree that children shouldn't be put into school by age.  Everyone has different learning levels and they go at different paces.  Some schools like Sudbury Valley don't have grades, which is what I like about the school.  I agree that children's thinking strategies decline for the worse because it is true that we are taught to learn things no other way then what is taught. 
       I disagree that children are put on medicines for ADHD just so that children can pay attention in school.  I don't believe that ADHD isn't common in the west because that disorder could happen anywhere.
       It surprised me to think that someone thought about all the problems with the school systems and it's mostly true.  That speaker was a pure genius.
